Sefa Utaki – Partial Access Restrictions

 
Construction work for preservation and repair will be carried out in some areas of Sefa Utaki, a World Heritage Site in Nanjo City, during the following period.
 
During the construction period, access to the affected areas will be restricted.
If you are planning to visit Sefa Utaki during this period, please check the latest information before you go.
 
Construction period: July 1, 2026–November 1, 2026 (tentative)
Restricted areas: Along the stone‑paved path inside the Utaki (between the three‑way intersection and Yuinchi), and around the worship area (Yuinchi)
 
Construction period: November 2, 2026-January 5, 2027 (tentative)
Restricted areas: Along the stone‑paved path inside the Utaki (between the three‑way intersection and Ujo-guchi), and around the worship area (Ufuguui)
