Shurijo Castle Seiden general release and prior guidance that it needs reservations

This autumn, the reconstruction of the Seiden, the main hall of Shurijo Castle, is scheduled to be completed.Shurijo Castle is rising again from the ashes of the tragic fire in 2019, thanks to the passion and dedication of many people, as well as the exceptional skills of Okinawan artisans.We hope you will have the opportunity to experience the rich history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom through the architecture and artistry of the Seiden.
Advance reservation is required to enter the interior of the Seiden.
Visitors wishing to enter the interior of the Main Hall must reserve an
“Admission Ticket with Main Hall Interior Viewing Reservation”, including a designated date and time.

 

Ticket Sale Schedule
Visits from November 23 to December 31, 2026

･First sales period : From 1:00 p.m. on September 1, 2026
･Second sales period : From 1:00 p.m. on October 1, 2026

 

Important Notes

･Same-day tickets may be purchased online until 15 minutes before the designated admission time, subject to availability.

･Tickets may also be purchased at the Kofukumon Ticket Office, subject to availability.

･For visits on or after January 1, 2027, reservations can be made starting two months before the visit date.
