Celebrate the coming of the new year by firelight in a serene festival dedicated to peace

Join the young and old in welcoming the new year at midnight in a festival that admonishes war and advocates peace. At the stroke of midnight a sacred fire is lit in memory of victims of war and bells are rung out in peace.
