The Kitsugansai Festival is sacred to Kohama Island and is held in a show of appreciation to the gods of the island. Enjoy kyogen comic plays, lion dancing, stick fighting, and other performances at this colorful festival. The festival is an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.
