Nago City heats up during its biggest festival of the summer

The Nago Summer Festival is an annual festival that takes place over a single weekend in July. The fishing port where the event is held comes alive in classic summer style; food stalls selling local foods and beverages (including Okinawa’s most popular beer), traditional eisa dance performances, live music, attendees strolling in summer kimono, and more. Each night culminates with an unmissable fireworks performance.
