Shuttle buses primarily connect Naha Airport with major tourist spots on Okinawa’s main island. Below are the main routes and their connections.

How to use the shuttle bus

Ticket purchase

Payment methods for shuttle buses vary by route. While all buses accept cash, some routes also allow payment by credit card. If paying with cash, be sure to have small bills or coins ready.
Certain routes offer the option to make reservations or purchase tickets in advance. Be sure to check the payment and boarding requirements for your specific route before traveling.

Boarding the bus

There are designated shuttle bus stops at Naha Airport and major tourist locations. Before boarding, check the bus number and destination at the stop to ensure you’re getting on the right bus.

Exiting the bus

Pay attention to the in-bus announcements and displays, and press the stop button when your stop is approaching, or exit when the bus reaches the stop you purchased the ticket for.

Bus etiquette and considerations

Priority seats

Priority seating is available for the elderly, pregnant women, and passengers with disabilities. Please offer these seats to those in need.

Phone usage

Set your phone to silent mode and avoid making calls while on the bus. Please switch off mobile phones near priority seats.

Behavior on buses

Refrain from littering, smoking, and eating onboard. Bottled drinks, such as water, are allowed if they do not disturb other passengers.

Luggage

For most shuttle buses, large luggage can be stored in the bus’s luggage compartment. If no compartment is available, please be mindful of other passengers when handling heavy or oversized luggage.

Possible delays

Buses may not always run on schedule due to traffic conditions. It's recommended to allow extra time for travel during these periods.
